Job summary

Alpha Data LLC. is seeking an experienced AV Specialist to install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, interactive displays, audio equipment, and Microsoft Teams Rooms across multiple sites in the UAE.

You will handle on-site installations, service meetings and classrooms, support events and videoconferencing, and ensure system integrity with documentation and standard practices. A UAE driving license and clean police clearance are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining AV systems across education sites.
• CTS certification and related qualifications preferred.
• Familiar with interactive panels and control platforms.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate and repair interactive panels, projectors, and classroom audio.
• Support meeting rooms, auditoria, and Teams Rooms across branches.
• Troubleshoot AV signal chains, HDMI/HDBaseT, and audio systems.
• Assist with video conferencing endpoints and Teams integration.
• Maintain AV standards docs and advise on refresh needs.
• Provide on-site escalation support to field engineers.
• Manage spares, consumables, and replacement cycles.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on high-value installations.

AV Specialist

We are looking for an experienced AV Specialist to install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV systems, interactive displays, audio equipment, and Microsoft Teams Rooms across multiple sites. Hands-on AV experience, a relevant technical qualification, a valid UAE driving license, and clean police clearance are mandatory. Experience in the education sector is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, calibrate and repair interactive flat panels, projectors, visualizers and classroom audio systems.
• Support meeting rooms, auditoria, conference facilities and Microsoft Teams Rooms across branches and offices.
• Provide AV support for Ministry events, ceremonies, broadcasts and town halls, including on-site operation.
• Troubleshoot AV signal chains - HDMI and HDBaseT distribution, matrix switchers, control systems, amplification and speaker systems.
• Support video conferencing endpoints and their integration with Microsoft Teams.
• Maintain AV standards documentation and advise on refresh and new-build specification.
• Provide escalation support to field engineers on complex AV faults across the estate.
• Manage AV spares, consumables and lamp/panel replacement cycles.
• Conduct preventive maintenance visits on high-value AV installations.

Required Technical Skills:

• Professional AV systems - signal flow, distribution, control systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX).
• Interactive display platforms and classroom audio systems.
• Video conferencing platforms with Microsoft Teams integration and Teams Rooms.
• AV-over-IP and basic networking for AV.
• Audio system setup, DSP configuration and acoustic troubleshooting.
• Cable termination and AV installation practice.

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, IT or a related discipline.
• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) advantageous.
• Manufacturer certification on interactive panel or control platforms advantageous.

Other Requirements:

• Prior experience supporting education-sector IT estate is a strong plus. Familiarity with academic-calendar-driven service demand, examination periods, classroom technology and safeguarding obligations will be considered favourably.
• Availability for evening and weekend event support.
• Comfortable working at height with appropriate safety training.
• Clean police clearance - mandatory for deployment.

Driving License:

• Valid UAE driving license - mandatory; travel across sites and emirates.
