Job summary

Integrated Communication Network in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an Audio Visual Engineer to manage AV and Lighting Control installations, oversee commissioning, verify pre-installation specifications, and ensure safety and quality standards on site.

You will coordinate with contractors, prepare handover documents, and support project teams with method statements, risk assessments, and system integration work.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/Computer/Electronics or related field.
• Good communication skills in English (Written, Verbal and Speaking).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with AV & Lighting Control systems.
• UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• To undertake the management of AV & Lighting Control systems installations.
• To undertake the commissioning of AV & Lighting Control systems.
• To verify the detailed accuracy of equipment specifications at the pre-installation stage.
• To develop site specific method statements and risk assessments as necessary and ensure Health and Safety requirements are upheld
• To be responsible for compliance with quality standards & regulations
• To ensure that systems are properly tested and commissioned.
• To assist in the production of O&M and training documentation.
• Support project coordinator and PM to prepare the handing over documents.
• Coordinate with the main contractor and subcontractor to ensure work aligns with scope and standards.
• To configure the AV & Lighting Control systems whenever required.
• Lead the commissioning phase of the projects and perform configuration as needed.
• Prepare the Windows server and installation of software of AV & Lighting Control systems.
• Configure AV & Lighting Control system devices as required.
• Perform integration of the AV & Lighting Control system.
• Coordinate/plan ahead with supplier's technical team for custom integration where applicable.
