Job summary

Atlantis The Royal in Dubai seeks an Audio Visual Technician 2 to provide event technology services and support, handling setup, testing and maintenance of AV systems for conferences and events. You will coordinate with the AV team, stakeholders and external contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support background music systems, and resolve on-site technical issues while adhering to Atlantis standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of audio visual equipment.
• Ability to support equipment setup, dismantling, testing and first-line maintenance.
• Effective communication and collaboration with colleagues, customers, stakeholders and contractors.
• Ability to develop practical solutions to technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up audio visual equipment for conferences and events.
• Dismantle and safely store equipment after events.
• Ensure setups comply with Atlantis standards and SOPs.
• Review event technical requirements and prepare equipment accordingly.
• Provide technical support during events and internal functions.
• Monitor external contractor setups to meet property standards.
• Respond to operational AV issues with practical technical solutions.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance on resort-owned AV equipment.
• Assist with testing and maintenance of permanently installed AV systems.
• Perform first-line maintenance and identify equipment faults.
• Maintain equipment in proper working condition and store properly.
• Follow established Audio Visual policies and procedures.
• Shift work to support conferences and events.
