Job summary

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider to recruit an Audio-Visual Specialist for their Ras Al Khaimah offices.

You will install and test broadcasting and AV equipment, configure IT networks, operate cameras and video switchers, and ensure safety and industry best practices in live productions.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with strong written and spoken communication.
• In-depth knowledge of photography principles (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, exposure).
• Strong technical expertise with professional cameras and AV systems.
• Experience in electronic engineering and communication equipment.
• Proficient in operating video cameras and production video switchers.
• Hands-on experience with live chroma keying and SDI infrastructure.
• Good color vision and hearing for audiovisual precision.
• Excellent IT skills and project management capabilities.
• Strong fault-finding and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented mindset with solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and test new broadcasting and AV equipment.
• Configure and maintain AV broadcast and IT network systems including star network setups.
• Set up and maintain equipment for virtual studio production.
• Operate and monitor AV links between units and during outside broadcasts.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in systems to minimize downtime.
• Design and manufacture custom hardware and AV systems.
• Interpret instructions from product owners and directors to align with creative goals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and cross-functional colleagues.

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an Audio-Visual Specialist for their offices in Ras Al Khaimah.

Position: Audio-Visual Specialist

Location: Ras Al Khaimah UAE

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install and test new broadcasting and AV equipment
• Perform advanced crimping on various connectors including BNC Micro BNC RJ45 and XLR
• Configure and maintain AV broadcast and IT network systems including star network setups
• Set up and maintain equipment for virtual studio production
• Operate and monitor AV links between units and during outside broadcasts
• Set up and operate transmission links and AV circuits for live and recorded productions
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in systems and equipment to minimize downtime
• Design and manufacture custom hardware and AV systems
• Interpret instructions from product owners and directors to ensure technical alignment with creative goals
• Ensure compliance with best practices in workplace health and safety
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies through research and professional networks
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and cross-functional colleagues.
