Job description

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Install and conduct tests on new broadcasting and audiovisual (AV) equipment.
• Perform advanced crimping on connectors such as BNC Micro BNC RJ45 and XLR.
• Configure and maintain AV broadcast and IT networks including star network configurations.
• Set up and support equipment for virtual studio productions.
• Operate and supervise AV connections between units and during remote broadcasts.
• Set up and manage transmission links and AV circuits for both live and recorded shows.
• Diagnose and repair technical issues quickly to reduce equipment downtime.
• Design and build custom AV hardware and systems.
• Follow technical guidelines provided by product owners and directors to align with creative objectives.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety standards at all times.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies through research and networking.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and colleagues from other departments.

Essential Audio-Visual Skills & Technical Experience

• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of photography fundamentals including aperture shutter speed ISO exposure and lenses.
• Advanced technical knowledge of professional cameras and AV systems.
• Experience working with electronic engineering and communication devices.
• Skilled in using video cameras and production video switchers.
• Practical experience with live chroma keying and SDI systems.
• Good color vision and hearing for accurate audiovisual work.
• Excellent IT proficiency and project management skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving skills.
• Team player with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
