Job summary

ALEC Technologies in the UAE is seeking a Junior Audiovisual Engineer to support installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of AV systems on large-scale projects.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, gain hands-on exposure to advanced AV technologies and immersive environments, and build expertise in professional AV systems, control systems and integrated multimedia solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Audio-Visual Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• 2–3 years of experience in AV installation or engineering support roles
• Familiarity with AV systems including displays, audio systems, and control systems

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of audiovisual systems including displays, speakers, projectors, and control systems
• Support structured cabling, AV signal routing, and equipment rack installation
• Assist in configuring AV devices, control systems, and basic programming under supervision
• Support testing and troubleshooting of AV systems during installation and commissioning phases
• Help ensure proper integration of AV equipment with control and network systems
• Interpret technical drawings, AV schematics, and installation guidelines accurately
• Work with senior engineers to support project execution and site coordination
• Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications, safety, and quality standards

What We’re Looking For

• Familiarity with structured cabling and AV signal flow concepts
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and system layouts
• Willingness to learn AV control systems and commissioning processes
