We are seeking a dynamic, service-driven, and experienced Assistant Store Manager for our Dubai and Abu Dhabi venues to support the overall management and daily operations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, commercial awareness, and a genuine passion for hospitality. The Assistant Store Manager will ensure operational excellence, uphold brand standards, develop team performance, and consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Business Performance

• Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all service areas.
• Lead and support the team in achieving sales targets, managing operational costs, and improving overall profitability.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring all opening and closing procedures are properly executed.
• Maintain operational standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor inventory, stock movement, ordering, and wastage to ensure effective cost control.
• Ensure all café equipment, coffee machines, and POS systems are properly maintained and operational.

People Management & Development

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the team to maintain high levels of productivity and service excellence.
• Create staffing schedule, manpower planning, and daily shift management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct regular team briefings to communicate operational priorities, promotions, and service expectations.
• Identify training needs and provide continuous coaching to improve team performance.
• Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative working environment.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Ensure exceptional guest experiences through attentive, personalized, and consistent service.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, actively engaging with guests and supporting the team during busy periods.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring effective service recovery.
• Monitor service delivery, product presentation, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Encourage the team to develop strong product knowledge and confidently promote the café's food and beverage offerings.
• Ensure consistent compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of the café, including dining areas, service stations, storage, and back-of-house facilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, grooming, and professional presentation.
• Ensure all food and beverage products meet established quality and presentation standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably within specialty cafés, upscale restaurants, or lifestyle dining concepts.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management position.
• Strong understanding of café operations, specialty coffee, food and beverage service, and customer experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a diverse team.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, sales performance, and operational reporting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic operational reporting.
• UAE hospitality experience is preferred.
