Job summary

HSBC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support Relationship Managers in delivering tailored banking solutions to international and aspirant clients. You will help prepare relationship plans, reviews and meetings, identify client needs, and coordinate across cash management, trade, payments, FX and other specialist products.

This role offers exposure to cross-border corporate banking, opportunities to grow with HSBC UAE, and a strong emphasis on compliant, risk-aware

Qualifications

Experience in corporate banking or relationship management.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
Ability to assess customer needs and tailor banking solutions.
Basic knowledge of international trade, FX, payments or cash management.
Understanding of credit, KYC, compliance and operational risk controls.
Degree for UAE visa; attestations/equivalency for degrees obtained outside UAE.
UAE Labour Law requires a 4-year fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

Support Relationship Managers in managing and growing a portfolio of international middle-market clients.
Prepare and coordinate customer relationship plans, reviews and meetings.
Identify customer needs and coordinate banking solutions across cash, trade and FX.
Assist with new-to-bank acquisition through market research and lead generation.
Coordinate cross-border referrals with HSBC colleagues and product partners.
Assist with credit applications, reviews, and documentation within approved terms.
Maintain high standards of service and perform KYC and compliance checks.
