Job summary

Flowline Mechanical Engineering in the UAE seeks an Asst Production Manager for its Sharjah steel fabrication operations. The role requires planning, supervising daily production, and coordinating with multiple teams to meet targets and quality standards.

You will oversee fabrication of structural steel and related works, drive efficiency, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with HSE policies and UAE regulations. Leadership of workshop personnel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, cutting, fit-up, assembly, and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise daily production activities.
• Ensure production targets, schedules, and quality standards are achieved.
• Manage fabrication of structural steel and related steel works.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QC, Procurement, Planning, and Site teams.
• Monitor manpower, materials, machinery, and production efficiency.
• Ensure proper implementation of approved drawings, procedures, and specifications and Quality Procedures.
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Control production costs, minimize material wastage, and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations.
• Lead and motivate production supervisors, foremen, welders, fabricators, and other workshop personnel.
• Prepare and monitor production reports and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, cutting, fit-up, assembly, and finishing.
• Experience in managing large fabrication workshops and production teams.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings/ and give solutions.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC steel fabrication experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates available in the UAE are preferred.
