Job summary

Flowline Mechanical Engineering FZC in the UAE seeks a Senior Production Manager for steel fabrication. You will plan, manage and supervise daily production activities, ensure targets, schedules and quality standards are met, and lead workshop teams.

Ideal candidates have 8–15 years in structural steel, strong drawing interpretation, leadership and problem-solving skills, and UAE/GCC fabrication experience.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities in large workshops.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC fabrication experience is an advantage.

• Manage fabrication of structural steel and related steel works
• Coordinate with Engineering QC Procurement Planning and Site teams
• Monitor manpower materials machinery and production efficiency
• Ensure proper implementation of approved drawings procedures and specifications and Quality Procedures
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions
• Control production costs minimize material wastage and improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and UAE regulations
• Lead and motivate production supervisors foremen welders fabricators and other workshop personnel
• Prepare and monitor production reports and KPIs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in steel fabrication/structural steel production.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, cutting, fit-up, assembly, and finishing.
• Experience in managing large fabrication workshops and production teams.
• Ability to read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings/ and give solutions.
• Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• UAE/GCC steel fabrication experience will be an advantage.
• Candidates available in the UAE are preferred.
