Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in a fabrication, welding, or assembly workshop.
• Practical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and workshop tools.
• Ability to manage manpower and workflow effectively.
• Strong supervision, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage manpower, workflow, and shop-floor materials effectively.
• Basic knowledge of ISO standards and safety practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities in the workshop.
• Allocate work to welders and fabricators.
• Inspect production output for quality compliance.
• Monitor workshop stock and handle purchasing.
• Handle purchasing of consumables and selected production materials as required.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Production teams.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized workshop.
• Prepare daily production and stock reports.

The role focuses on supervising production activities, managing shop‑floor resources, and ensuring smooth workflow, quality output, and safe working practices. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in metal fabrication or assembly environments and strong team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities and ensure tasks are completed as per schedule
• Allocate work to welders, fabricators, and assemblers and monitor productivity
• Inspect production output to ensure compliance with drawings and quality standards
• Monitor workshop stock, including materials, tools, and consumables
• Handle purchasing of consumables and selected production materials as required
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Procurement, and Production teams
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a clean, organized workshop
• Prepare daily production and stock reports

• Are you familiar with daily production planning and allocating tasks to welders/fabricators?
