Job summary

confidential in Dubai seeks a senior Workshop/Production Engineering leader to oversee fabrication operations. You will advise on layout, machinery, and commissioning, plan cutting and welding processes, and ensure on-time delivery with QA/QC compliance.

You will review drawings and BOQs, prepare cost estimates, and manage a multidisciplinary team. UAE experience is preferred; English proficiency is essential, Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Production Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in steel fabrication or structural steel workshops.
• Strong knowledge of CNC fiber laser cutting, press brakes, MIG/MAG welding, and industrial painting.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and prepare BOQs, BOMs, cutting lists, and cost estimates.
• Experience in production planning, quality control, workforce management, and workshop safety.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD; SolidWorks or similar software is an advantage.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
