Job summary

Jumeirah, Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai, seeks an Assistant Manager – Restaurant Reservation to join our luxury hospitality team. This role oversees reservations operations, drives KPI performance, and collaborates with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a hotel management degree, revenue management knowledge, and 5–8 years in reservations or similar roles.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hotel Management from an accredited university.
• Revenue Management qualification is desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of PMS systems and strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication, customer relationship, and conflict management skills.
• Strong team player who is flexible, adaptable, diversity-focused, and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reservations KPIs and standards met with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations to maximize revenue.
• Oversee daily/weekly/monthly reservations activities, audits, and group bookings.
• Monitor revenue, finance, and guest experience risks; resolve guest complaints promptly.
• Keep the team updated on property information, rates, services and selling strategies.
• Lead, coach and develop the Reservations team through training and reviews.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager – Restaurant Reservation tojoin Madinat Jumeirah

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensure internal and external service, quality, and commercial performance meet Reservations KPIs and standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations teams to maximize revenue and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reservations activities, including audits, revenue, compliance, finance, visas, and group bookings.
• Monitor and elevate revenue, finance, and guest experience risks, while ensuring guest complaints are resolved promptly.
• Keep the team updated on property information, rates, services, and selling strategies, and drive consistent operational standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Reservations team through training, performance reviews, recruitment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Degree in Hotel Management from an accredited university; Revenue Management qualification is desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of PMS systems and strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication, customer relationship, and conflict management skills.
• Strong team player who is flexible, adaptable, diversity-focused, and able to manage time effectively.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Reservations Manager or in a similar hospitality role.
