Job summary

Black & Grey HR in the UAE is hiring an Assistant Manager Business Development for a globally recognized luxury home furnishing brand. The ideal candidate should be based in the UAE with prior carpet/home furnishings experience and strong market knowledge of the South Asian product landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in business development or sales within carpet, rug, flooring or home furnishings.
• Based in UAE with good understanding of local market and business environment.
• Established connections with interior designers, architects, hospitality clients, developers and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to generate leads, develop new accounts, negotiate commercially and convert prospects.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UAE luxury carpet, rug and home furnishings market.
• Leverage industry exposure to identify potential customers, networks and growth opportunities.
• Build relationships with interior designers, architects, design consultants, hospitality groups and developers.
• Generate leads, conduct client meetings, present collections and convert opportunities into business.
• Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline with consistent follow-ups and targets.
• Coordinate with internal teams to propose carpet and rug solutions for residential, commercial and hospitality projects.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and opportunities within UAE and GCC.
• Represent the brand at events, exhibitions, networking forums and client presentations.
