Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) is seeking a Senior Business Continuity professional to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the bank's BCM framework across the enterprise.

The role supports Business Impact Analysis, recovery planning, crisis management, and testing, ensuring resilience of processes, people and systems while aligning with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of banking or financial services experience.
• 2–3 years in BCM, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Internal Control, Audit.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Implement and review the Bank's BCM framework, policies, procedures, standards and governance requirements across the Bank.
• Coordinate with units to complete Business Impact Analysis, dependency assessments, recovery requirements, and continuity plan updates.
• Develop, maintain and validate BCM Plans, Crisis Management arrangements, call trees and recovery strategies.
• Plan, facilitate and document BCM tests, tabletop exercises, evacuation drills, and Disaster Recovery coordination with Technology teams.
• Track test results, incidents, audit observations, gaps, lessons learned and corrective actions.
• Prepare BCM dashboards, management reports, risk updates and regulatory/governance submissions.
• Support BCM awareness, training and communication to strengthen staff readiness.
• Maintain alignment with internal risk management practices and regulatory standards.
