Assistant Front Office Manager – Rooms in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Full‑time, hotel‑lodging management role requiring 5 years of front‑office experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. This position leads daily reception operations, guides guest service teams, enhances satisfaction scores, supports revenue performance, and ensures seamless coordination across the hotel departments. The role demands strong leadership, budgeting knowledge, PMS experience, and a passion for delivering polished guest experiences in a busy hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the front‑office team across daily reception, guest handling, room coordination, and service delivery activities.
  • Oversee check‑ins, check‑outs, guest enquiries, room readiness updates, billing coordination, and overall front‑desk service flow.
  • Train, motivate, and mentor front‑office colleagues to deliver professional, warm, and consistent guest service.
  • Develop and apply practical strategies that improve guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and front‑office productivity.
  • Handle guest complaints, service failures, and escalations promptly with professionalism, discretion, and clear follow‑up.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, food and beverage, concierge, engineering, security, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores, front‑office performance metrics, service response times, upselling activity, and team standards.
  • Manage VIP guests, repeat guests, special requests, room preferences, and high‑value arrivals with careful attention to detail.
  • Support department budgeting, cost control, expense monitoring, staffing efficiency, and resource planning.
  • Ensure front‑office operations comply with brand standards, local regulations, hotel procedures, and guest privacy requirements.
  • Implement and maintain efficient front‑office systems, handover routines, logbooks, reports, and service procedures.
  • Support revenue‑management strategies to maximize occupancy, room revenue, upselling opportunities, and length of stay.
  • Review arrival lists, departure movement, groups, VIPs, special events, occupancy levels, and hotel activity before each shift.
  • Use Property Management Systems and Microsoft Office tools accurately for reporting, guest records, room status, and operational tracking.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities, room types, services, packages, local attractions, events, and guest recommendation points in Dubai.
  • Make sound operational decisions during busy periods, night operations, weekends, holidays, and changing business conditions.
  • Promote positive communication, teamwork, and accountability within the front‑office team and across hotel departments.
  • Identify service gaps and recommend improvements to procedures, staffing, training, and guest handling methods.
  • Carry out reasonable additional duties assigned by hotel management to support smooth rooms‑division operations.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in hotel front‑office operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience training, motivating, mentoring, and managing front‑office team members.
