Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Chef de Partie - Bakery to lead the bakery section within our luxury Dubai property. You will produce breads, pastries and viennoiserie to the highest standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation across all items.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or Baker in luxury hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of bread making, dough handling, fermentation, proofing, baking, and artisan bakery production.
• Experience producing breads, pastries, viennoiserie, and bakery items for high-end service.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, allergen management, hygiene and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day bakery section operations, ensuring efficient production and smooth execution of bakery requirements.
• Prepare and present breads, rolls, artisan loaves, breakfast pastries, viennoiserie and related items per recipes and standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance, portioning, and quality across bakery products.
• Train and support Demi Chefs de Partie, Commis Chefs and kitchen attendants within the bakery section.
• Coordinate with Pastry, Culinary, Stewarding and F&B teams to ensure timely fulfillment of operations.
