Based at Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Bakery section, the Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for delivering exceptional baked goods that meet our world-class standards of taste, presentation, and food safety. The Demi Chef de Partie reports to the Chef de Partie.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Demi Chef de Partie in a bakery section of a 5-star hotel or high-end restaurant.
• Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in baking, dough handling, proofing, and finishing.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and baking of high-quality bread, pastries, and other baked items.
• Ensure all ingredients and recipes are followed precisely, maintaining consistency and excellence.
• Monitor stock and inventory levels in your section, ensuring timely requisitions and minimal waste.
• Collaborate with the team in the development of new recipes and baked items.
• Support broader kitchen operations and cross-functional tasks as needed
• Uphold and comply with all health, food safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies, HACCP requirements, including those mandated by UAE Municipality.
