Atlantis Resorts is seeking an Aquaventure Attendant in Dubai, UAE to support daily guest recreation and service operations across Aquaventure, resort beaches, guest cabanas, towel cabanas and buggy services. This active guest-facing role combines five-star area presentation, cabana and Food and Beverage service, cashiering, equipment preparation, safety procedures and assistance with recreational requests.

About the Role

As an Aquaventure Attendant, you will help prepare and maintain assigned guest areas throughout the day while providing courteous assistance in line with Atlantis resort standards. The position covers several areas of the Aquaventure operation, including guest cabanas, towel cabanas, resort and waterpark deck areas, beaches and guest buggy services. Close coordination with Facilities, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and other colleagues is essential to maintaining smooth operations and five-star presentation.

Guest Cabanas and Service

• Prepare guest cabanas to the required presentation standard before arrival.
• Keep cabanas clean, properly arranged and ready for guests throughout the day.
• Understand waterpark cabana reservations and payment procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of Food and Beverage menus available across waterpark outlets.
• Provide day-to-day cabana Food and Beverage service according to resort standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to support seamless cabana operations.
• Wash and clean cabanas, umbrellas, sun loungers and mattresses as required.

Towel Cabana Operations

• Prepare Aquaventure towel cabanas for daily service.
• Maintain the required stock of clean towels.
• Operate the cabana POS system after completing the required training.
• Collect soiled towels according to established procedures.
• Deliver towel cabana service in accordance with Aquaventure standards.
• Process cashiering activities according to hotel policies and procedures.

Guest Buggy and Safety Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the resort's guest buggy service.
• Follow and enforce applicable buggy safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct safety inspections before and after using assigned buggies.
• Take responsibility for the assigned buggy during duty hours.
• Assist during waterpark and resort emergencies as required and follow the applicable Emergency Action Plan.
• Report lost children, parents and guest property according to established procedures.
• Assist with guest complaints, incidents and injuries when required.
• Report incidents, guest comments and safety concerns promptly to management.

Daily Resort Operations

• Attend scheduled shifts on time, correctly uniformed and in accordance with grooming standards.
• Participate in the daily briefing at the beginning of each shift.
• Complete required training on resort standards and operating procedures.
• Inspect beaches, cabanas, towel cabanas and buggies and follow up on maintenance requirements.
• Prepare and maintain pool, waterpark deck and beach areas according to resort standards.
• Keep assigned areas clean and remove rubbish from beach and deck areas.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures and required reports.
• Assist colleagues when operational support is needed.
• Maintain knowledge of daily resort attractions, events and special promotions.
• Follow hotel requirements relating to fire safety, hygiene, health and safety.
• Move operational equipment such as sun loungers, umbrellas and cabanas manually or using a trolley or cargo buggy when required.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.

About You

Candidates should have completed high school-level studies and have either one year of experience in a hospitality environment such as a hotel, Food and Beverage or leisure operation, or a hospitality study certification. An above-average level of spoken, written and reading English is required. Microsoft Office knowledge, Food and Beverage knowledge and a driving licence would be advantageous. The role requires a strong customer focus and the ability to interact professionally with guests of different nationalities, ages and backgrounds.

Physical Requirements

This is an active outdoor position. Candidates must be physically able to work for extended periods in demanding weather conditions, including sandstorms and temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. The role also requires prolonged standing and walking, potentially for up to 10 hours a day, extended periods driving guest golf carts, and the ability to move heavy operational items such as sun loungers, umbrellas and cabanas.
