You will lead technical design, coordinate with sales teams, and deliver value-driven demonstrations and POCs for customers and partners. The role requires designing end-to-end security architectures, aligning with standards and regulations, and traveling to GCC countries as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related).
• Proficient in Arabic and English.
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of Electronic Security systems and IP networking.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Perform value engineering to ensure optimal technical and commercial solutions.

We are seeking a Application/System Sales Engineer - UAE National Only with an IT / electronics / Engineering background with expertise in access control and security solutions to support complex sales engagements across the region. The role combines technical leadership, solution design, customer engagement, and value engineering, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and a key technical partner to sales teams.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in positioning, architecting, and differentiating integrated security solutions, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and alignment with customer business objectives.

They will report to the META Field Service Manager & works closely with SAS (Security and Access Solutions) Regional Sales Leader – UAE, and the Customers by providing techno-commercial advice and guidance on the solutions. This position will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with frequent travels to GCC countries as necessarily required.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

• Act as the technical authority for LenelS2 and Honeywell Security portfolios including:
  • Access Control Systems (ACS)
  • Video Management Systems (VMS)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
  • Integrated Security Platforms
• Design end-to-end security architectures aligned with customer requirements, standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform value engineering, ensuring optimal technical and commercial solutions.

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Partner closely with sales teams to support opportunity qualification, bid strategy, and deal closure.
• Support customer meetings and site surveys.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to customers, consultants, and partners.
• Respond to RFPs/RFQs, prepare compliance matrices, technical clarifications, and deviations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, system integrators, and end users. Lead technical discovery sessions, site assessments, and requirement analysis.
• On quarterly basis, conduct live and digital events for customers (products sales certification training, webinars & NPI presentations)

Technical Leadership & Enablement

• Serve as a mentor and technical escalation point for other application engineers.
• Support partners and internal teams through training, solution workshops, and best-practice sharing.
• Stay current on product roadmaps, cybersecurity requirements, and industry trends.

Project & Delivery Support

• Support transition from sales to execution, ensuring accurate scope, design intent, and documentation.
• Review system designs, drawings, and BOMs to prevent errors and rework.
• Provide post-sales technical support during critical project milestones when required.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field).
• Proficient in Arabic and English language
• Fresh graduate or up to one year of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge about:
  • Electronic Security systems (ACS, VMS, Intrusion, integration platforms)
  • Cloud and virtualization platforms
• Good understanding of IP networking, cybersecurity concepts, and system integrations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Willing to work with consultants, EPCs, and system integrators in UAE or GCC Countries

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• LenelS2 and/or Honeywell product certifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to link technical solutions to business value.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
