Job summary

Expeditors in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Air Services Agent to ensure air freight and the associated information move accurately and on time. You will work with customers, partners and colleagues to deliver excellent service on every shipment.

In this role, you will receive and review documents, route and process air shipments, monitor status, update clients, and build strong carrier relationships while following SOPs. Fluency in English and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of the global logistics industry
• Good computer skills (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word)
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude

Responsibilities

• Receive and review shipping documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare, route and process air shipments in line with operating procedures
• Manage freight receipt and keep cargo moving on schedule
• Monitor shipments from origin to destination and proactively update customers and partners
• Enter data into our operating system accurately and on time
• Follow each customer's SOPs
• Build strong relationships with customers, carriers and service providers
• Respond promptly to internal and external requests and escalates issues to management when needed

As an Air Services Agent, you'll keep air freight and the information that goes with it moving accurately and on time. You'll work with customers, partners and colleagues across our network to deliver exceptional customer service on every shipment.
