Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a Video Editor and Producer (AI & Performance Ads) in Dubai, UAE. You will edit high-volume ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube, blending AI-generated content with UGC and stock footage to drive conversions.

You'll script hooks, write direct-response concepts, and shape the creative strategy with our strategists and paid media teams. A fast, data-driven thinker with strong English is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of video editing experience, incl. paid social for DTC/eCommerce.
• Proven AI-powered ads experience; portfolio showing AI ads.
• Hundreds to thousands of paid social ads with measurable ROAS or CPA.
• Strong written and spoken English; confident presenting to a global team.
• Proficient with AI video tools like Veo, Kling, Runway and ElevenLabs.
• Expert in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects or DaVinci is a plus.
• Understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, offers and CTAs.

Responsibilities

• Editing 60% of time, turning briefs and footage into high-converting ads.
• Edit short-form ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube from strategist briefs.
• Write hooks, pace, and ensure new visual change every 2–3 seconds.
• Add captions, overlays, sound design and platform-specific CTAs.
• Export in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9 with organized deliverables.
• Test new AI tools to gain competitive edge.
• Creative strategy: craft scripts, hooks and CTAs for varied ads.
• Collaborate with strategists to turn insights into briefs and shot lists.
• Adapt winning scripts into angles, personas and tests.
• Use an editor's eye to spot attention before production.
• Review performance data and re-edit to fix weaknesses.
