Job summary

PetLab Co. is seeking a fast, high-skill Video Editor obsessed with direct-response ads and AI-powered performance.

You’ll be a core part of our in-house creative engine, producing AI-driven ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube and shaping the strategy behind scalable customer acquisition. Expect to write hooks, craft scripts, edit UGC, stock and AI avatars, and collaborate with Creative Strategists, Paid Media, Video Producers, Organic Social and Influencers.

Qualifications

4+ years of video editing experience, including 2+ years in paid social ads
Proven experience creating AI-powered ads; portfolio with AI ads
Hundreds or thousands of paid social ads with measurable results (ROAS, CPA, scale)
Strong written and spoken English and ability to present ideas
Experience with AI video tools daily workflow and fast-moving teams

Responsibilities

Editing short-form video ads for Meta, TikTok and YouTube from briefs
Writing hooks for the first 3 seconds and maintaining visual changes every 2–3 seconds
Adding captions, overlays, sound design and clear CTAs
Cutting UGC, influencer, studio and stock footage into native-feeling ads
Exporting in 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, 16:9 and organizing media for buyers
Testing new AI tools to produce ads that stop the scroll and drive purchases
