Job summary

Capital.com is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to own capacity planning across the organisation as we grow into new products and markets.

You will forecast demand over 1 week to 6 months, translate it into staffing needs, and build the main planning model using AI and automation. You’ll partner with Finance and operational leaders to drive hiring decisions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capacity planning, workforce management or operations planning in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with Customer Support, KYC or FinCrime operations planning.
• Record of recommendations that changed hiring or process decisions.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and SQL or similar; experience managing direct reports.
• Strong grasp of capacity drivers, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
• Experience building forecasting and capacity models, including seasonality.
• Experience collaborating with Finance and tracking forecast accuracy over time.

Responsibilities

• Own capacity planning across the organisation; forecast demand over 1 week to 6 months and translate into staffing needs.
• Build and run the department’s main planning model using AI and automation; advise leaders on hiring and process improvements.
• Own the capacity planning model, roadmap and KPIs; align with Finance and reporting.
• Flag capacity risks early and keep reporting clear for managers to act on.
