Job summary

Capital.com in Dubai seeks a Senior Operations Manager - Planning to design and oversee capacity planning as we expand into new products and markets. You will lead forecasting, scenarios, and capacity alignment with product, engineering and finance teams.

The role requires 5+ years in capacity planning or workforce planning, strong analytics, advanced spreadsheet skills and SQL, with a proven track record of influencing hiring and process decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in capacity planning or operations planning in high-volume settings.
• Ability to build forecasting models and incorporate seasonality and demand drivers.
• Proven impact on hiring, redeployment or process decisions through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Own the capacity planning model, roadmap and KPIs.
• Forecast demand over the next week, month and six months with clear assumptions.
• Translate demand into capacity needs considering skills, hours, and ramp-up.
• Build scenarios for growth, launches and disruption with cost/service impact.
• Recommend hiring and process actions early to cover lead times.
• Align data with Finance and ops teams; track forecast vs. actual.
• Flag capacity risks, including skill/time-zone gaps; report clearly to managers.
