Job summary

OBT Group in Dubai seeks a Regional Marketing Coordinator – Africa to coordinate day-to-day marketing across Africa, ensuring plans, brand standards and content are implemented region-wide. Based at HQ Dubai, you’ll work with the Africa teams, manage assets, suppliers and events, and support social media and roadshows.

The role requires highly organized, proactive individuals who can manage multiple countries, deadlines and stakeholders, travel across Africa as needed, and align local activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR or related field.
• Ideally 3–5 years in a marketing coordination, communications, events or similar broad marketing role.
• Experience supporting multiple areas of marketing, including content, social media, brand coordination, events and supplier management.
• Excellent written and verbal English; working knowledge of French is a strong advantage but not essential.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with templates and on-brand presentations.
• Good working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook and other social channels.
• Experience coordinating with photographers, videographers, printers, event suppliers or other external partners.
• Experience supporting exhibitions, events or roadshows, including on-site setup.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple countries, suppliers, activities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach with follow-through on stakeholder requests and actions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day marketing contact between Group HQ in Dubai and OBT offices across Africa.
• Ensure all African offices follow OBT marketing SOPs, brand guidelines and approved standards.
• Ensure offices use the latest approved marketing materials, templates, presentations, logos and brand assets.
• Follow up with local offices on marketing requirements and deadlines; escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with African offices to support the Group social media and content calendar.
• Collect operational stories, photos, videos and updates for use across channels.
• Identify and coordinate relationships with photographers and videographers across Africa.
• Brief photographers/videographers and manage from briefing to delivery of final content.
• Support exhibitions, events and roadshows with stand setup and local coordination.
• Attend events as required to ensure brand presence meets standards.
• Coordinate local suppliers for merchandise, printing and marketing needs, ensuring quality and delivery.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manage outstanding requirements.
• Roll out HQ marketing communications and ensure adherence to approved materials.
• Maintain a central library of brand assets and latest materials.
• Maintain records of materials and stock across African offices.
• Coordinate replenishment/distribution of marketing materials.
• Support colleagues with marketing requests and PowerPoint presentations.
• Provide regular updates to HQ on regional activity, supplier activity and upcoming events.
