Job summary

Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage accounts payable and fixed asset transactions. You will ensure accurate supplier invoicing, timely payments, asset tagging and depreciation, plus supporting internal and external audits.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least two years in AP or related finance; ERP experience and financial software proficiency are preferred, with professional qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable or a related finance function.
Preferred: experience with ERP systems and financial software.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process supplier invoices accurately and within established timelines.
Record and process payments to suppliers and service providers.
Reconcile accounts payable ledgers against supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Support acquisition and capitalization of fixed assets; maintain asset register.
Implement asset tagging and inventory controls for fixed assets.
Manage petty cash transactions with proper documentation.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports on accounts payable and fixed assets.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
Assist audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
