Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting activities and keep accurate financial records. You will handle transactions, invoices, payments, and assist with VAT requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CMA preferred, 2–4 years of experience, and strong skills in Excel and accounting software. Trading/logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare and record invoices and payments.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Follow up on customer payments and outstanding balances.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Maintain proper financial records and documents.
• Assist with monthly financial reports.
• Assist with VAT and other accounting requirements.
• Check expenses and payment documents.
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow monitoring.
• Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding financial matters.
• Support the Finance team with other accounting tasks as required.
