Job summary

Khione Electromechanical and A/C Works is seeking an Accountant - Procurement Oversight to support its growing operations. The role will manage accounting functions, oversee procurement documentation, ensure tax compliance, and prepare financial reports.

It requires strong financial expertise, supplier management skills, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. The candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, monthly statements, VAT returns, and tax reporting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on UAE VAT reconciliations and VAT return preparation; corporate tax knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience in procurement documentation and supplier management is preferred.
• Industry background in engineering, construction, SMEs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including payables, receivables and GL.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and reconciliations.
• Handle UAE VAT accounting, reconciliations and VAT return preparation.
• Support corporate tax compliance and related financial reporting.
• Oversee procurement activities including quotations, POs and payments.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation and controls.
• Monitor cash flow, assist budgeting and cost optimisation.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax advisors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
