Job summary

Emirates Electrical Engineering LLC in Dubai seeks a detail-oriented Receivables and Payables specialist to manage supplier invoices, petty cash, and utilities payments. The role requires coordinating with internal departments, reconciling balances, and supporting month-end closing activities.

Candidate should hold a Bachelor's in accounting, with 1–5 years in contracting accounting and strong Excel and SAP knowledge. Experience in VAT and tax processes is a plus, with on-site UAE work in Dubai.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years' experience in accounting, contracting industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare debit notes for suppliers and ensure accuracy of entries.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely recording of financial data.
• Reconcile book balances with bank statements.
• Prepare monthly reports on petty cash and utilities.
• Assist supervisors with month-end closing tasks.

Job description

Receivables and Payables

• checking petty cash statement and updating the books of accounts
• maintaining and updating utility bills and making payments
• coordination with suppliers for payments
• periodic reconciliation of supplier and group company accounts
• utilities invoices accounting
• GHRD debit notes review and accounting
• customs duty accounting and reconciliation
• VAT invoice monitoring and follow-ups with SCM
• escalate discrepancies
• prepare fund transfer applications
• forward documents to signatories

General Responsibilities

• prepare debit notes for suppliers

• assist superiors on month-end closing tasks

Qualifications

• minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounts (Master's preferred)

Experience
