Job summary

LT FILMS INDUSTRIES LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced accountant to oversee day-to-day financial activities, project costing, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage ledgers, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations, while supporting cost control and budgeting across civil, PEB and manufacturing projects.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of accounting experience in UAE manufacturing, construction, or project-based companies.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and IFRS.
• Good understanding of project costing, CAPEX, inventory and fixed-asset accounting.
• Strong Excel, tally, and ERP/accounting software skills.
• Ability to independently handle accounts up to finalization and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including general ledger journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.
• Handle project and manufacturing costing including cost allocation, product costing, inventory valuation, budget vs actual analysis and monitoring of material, utility, manpower and overhead costs to identify variances and support cost control.
• Review supplier and contractor invoices against POs, contracts, BOQ quantities, work progress and supporting documents before processing payments and verify customer invoices against sales orders, dispatch quantities, agreed pricing and payment terms to ensure accurate billing and revenue recording.
• Maintain project-wise and cost-head-wise accounting for civil, PEB, MEP, machinery, logistics, utilities and other project expenses.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, expense analysis, cash flow reports and other management reports.
• Monitor company cash flow, upcoming payment obligations, receivables and fund requirements and provide regular updates to management.
• Manage fixed assets, CAPEX, CWIP and capitalization of plant machinery and project-related costs.
• Maintain supplier, contractor and customer reconciliations including advances, retentions, security deposits and progressive payments.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with banks for payments, transfers, bank guarantees, letters of credit and other banking requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide schedules, reconciliations, supporting documents and information required for audits.
• Monitor inventory accounting, material receipts, consumption and stock reconciliation, particularly once manufacturing operations commence.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, cost control and variance analysis against approved budgets.

Requirements

• Preferably 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience in UAE manufacturing, construction or project-based companies.
