Job summary

CHUMS Dessert & Coffee in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant & Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations across branches and provide clear reports to management.

The role covers bank reconciliations, VAT handling, payroll support, and monthly P&L preparation, with a focus on cost control and accurate record-keeping. Strong UAE experience and excellent Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily sales reconciliation for all branches.
• Reconcile POS sales with cash, card payments and delivery platforms.
• Bank reconciliation.
• Record and monitor company expenses.
• Manage supplier invoices and payment schedules.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with monthly payroll preparation.
• Maintain VAT records and support VAT filing.
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports for each branch.
• Monitor food cost, operating expenses and branch performance.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with Operations and Procurement regarding costs, invoices and stock-related issues.

Accountant & Finance Officer – F&B

CHUMS Dessert & Coffee is looking for an experienced and organized Accountant & Finance Officer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our branches and providing clear financial reports to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily sales reconciliation for all branches
• Reconcile POS sales with cash, card payments and delivery platforms
• Bank reconciliation
• Record and monitor company expenses
• Manage supplier invoices and payment schedules
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Assist with monthly payroll preparation
• Maintain VAT records and support VAT filing
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports for each branch
• Monitor food cost, operating expenses and branch performance
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documents
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management
• Coordinate with Operations and Procurement regarding costs, invoices and stock-related issues

Requirements:

• Previous accounting experience in the UAE
• Experience in restaurants, cafés or F&B is highly preferred
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with accounting software
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation, P&L and expense control
• Strong attention to detail
• Good English communication skills
• Able to work independently and report directly to management

Job Details:

• Location: Abu Dhabi
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Salary: AED 4,000 – 6,000 per month, depending on experience
• Immediate availability is preferred
• Candidates with previous multi-branch F&B accounting experience will be given priority.
