Job summary

The Senior Accountant at Daikan Hospitality Group oversees the day-to-day accounting function for the FZCO entity and all outlets, ensuring accurate, timely financial records. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage the general ledger, month-end close, and internal controls while supporting budgeting and audits.

Key duties include IFRS reporting, outlet P&Ls, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, and collaboration with Operations, HR, and Purchasing to deliver reliable financial insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA or CA) is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years at a senior or supervisory level; hospitality, F&B or multi-outlet experience is strongly preferred.
• Solid UAE experience, including VAT, Corporate Tax and free zone (FZCO) reporting.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, month-end close, reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, Odoo, Tally or Zoho Books) and restaurant POS reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial models).
• Excellent written and spoken English and clear communication with non-finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS, outlet-level P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, journal entries, accruals, provisions, depreciation, and general ledger accuracy.
• Oversee bank, cash, POS, card, delivery platform, intercompany, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations while strengthening internal controls.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, payment runs, cashflow, payroll accounting, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, and external audits.
