Job summary

Octave seeks an Account Director for Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial in Abu Dhabi/Dubai with a hybrid work model. You will lead strategic, multi-product sales to government and critical infrastructure clients, shaping security and geospatial solutions across long sales cycles.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in tech sales, 7+ years in oil & gas or government markets, and strong C-level engagement, cross-functional collaboration, and deal leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives.
• 10+ years of technology-related sales or business development.
• 7+ years selling in oil & gas, government, public safety or critical infra.
• Experience selling geospatial, physical security or IoT security is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Define business value for clients through solution selling.
• Represents Octave with integrity and professionalism.
• Engage with executive-level management at customer companies.
• Understand customer budgeting process and why the budget exists.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and manage tenders.
• Work with partners and integrators to expand direct sales.
• Deliver on quota expectations consistently.
• Mentor associate account sales executives.
