Job summary

Octave seeks an Account Director to drive new account development and growth within an established geographic territory, focusing on SIG solutions that protect people and critical infrastructure. You will engage with C-level executives, articulate business value, and manage complex, multi-product opportunities.

Hybrid role in Abu Dhabi, requiring 10+ years in tech sales, including 7+ years in oil/gas, government or critical infrastructure sectors, with strong communication and negotiation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of business.
• 10+ years of technology-related sales experience.
• 7+ years selling in oil and gas, government, public safety or critical infrastructure.
• Experience selling geospatial, physical security or IoT security solutions a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and expand existing ones within territory or product line.
• Adept at solution selling and define business value for clients.
• Represent Octave with integrity and professionalism.
• Diligently use the corporate sales CRM system.
• Engage with executive-level management at customer companies.
• Sell multiple product lines, lead financial discussions, and negotiate with clients.
• Identify protection gaps and offer SIG solutions to close them.
• Work with government, public safety and critical infrastructure buyers, including tenders and long sales cycles.
• Understand the customer's budgeting process and why it exists.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and mentor associates.
• Collaborate with partners and integrators to grow direct sales over time.
• Deliver on quota expectations consistently.
