Job summary

Octave is seeking an Account Director to lead new account development and expand existing accounts within the UAE. This role focuses on Safety, Infrastructure and Geospatial solutions, with an emphasis on solution selling and defining business value for clients in government and critical infrastructure sectors.

You will engage with C-level executives, manage multi-product offerings, mentor associates, and drive quota attainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of business.
• 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent.
• 7+ years of selling in the oil and gas industry, government, public safety and critical infrastructure.
• Experience selling geospatial, physical security, public safety or IoT security solutions is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• New account development and expansion within UAE territory.
• Define business value for clients through solution selling.
• Represent Octave with integrity and professionalism.
• Diligently use the corporate sales CRM system.
• Engage with executive-level management at customer companies.
• Sell multiple product lines and lead financial discussions.
• Mentor associate account sales executives.
• Maintain relationships with key accounts.
• Work with partners and integrators to move more business to direct sales.
