Job summary

Ennismore is seeking a detail-oriented Health & Safety Manager in Abu Dhabi to develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs. You will lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and training while ensuring UAE regulatory compliance across operations.

The role requires strong analytical skills, decisive leadership, and a commitment to fostering a safety culture throughout the organization. Experience with ISO 45001 is preferred and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in health and safety management in corporate/industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and training delivery in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and programs in line with UAE regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify workplace dangers and controls.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and preventive actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and regulator reports as required.
• Organize and deliver safety training, inductions, toolbox talks, and courses.
• Perform regular safety audits and inspections of facilities and practices.
• Collaborate with managers to integrate safety into daily operations and projects.
• Develop emergency plans and coordinate drills and business continuity measures.
• Monitor safety metrics and report findings to management.
• Stay updated on changes in safety regs and best practices; update policies accordingly.
