Install, configure, modify, and repair products, flame-proof equipment, and systems purchased by customers. Identify and resolve complex problems associated with start-up.

• Represent Sandvik as a subject matter expert for flameproof rubber-tyred vehicles.
• Serve as a technical liaison regarding product safety, performance, application, and reliability issues.
• Act as the technical contact between Sales Area Equipment Support team and Product Line Engineering teams.
• Update documentation and safety compliance information based on Sandvik SHEQ guidelines, MHSA guidelines, DMRE directives, regulation changes, and mine site procedures, and communicate these updates to customers and service personnel.
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis and troubleshooting of flameproof mobile mining equipment and sub-assemblies.
• Collect and analyze technical data, operating costs, and feedback from service teams and customers.
• Provide recommendations to the Product Manager to improve product safety, reliability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership.
• Develop and maintain a network of repairers and suppliers for effective service support.
• Develop operational readiness plans for new product launches and upgrades, including training materials.
• Travel extensively to Sandvik RSA Mechanical Cutting customer mine sites.

• Product Safety: Communicate safety bulletins and legislative updates.
• Product Support: Assist service and parts teams with repair and maintenance knowledge.
• Product Performance: Recommend improvements based on data and site needs.
• New Product Development: Support with technical data for new products.
• Product Sales: Contribute to sales materials and provide application advice.
• Warranty: Train staff in warranty and non-warranty repairs.

Qualifications include mechanical qualification or diesel mechanic trade, vocational training in diesel engines and mobile mining equipment, minimum 3 years’ experience in product support for flameproof RTV equipment, and the ability to travel and work effectively in a matrix organization. English proficiency is required.
