Education
Location:Flexible, based anywhere in East or Southern Africa. Preference will be given to candidates located in Kenya or Zimbabwe, though applications from other locations, including South Africa, are welcome

Compensation: Salary will be paid in USD or EUR (gross) . We do not have a fixed salary and will determine the benchmark based on applicants current earnings and experience.
We are seeking a qualified Refrigeration Engineer to join our team, specializing in the design and installation of cooling systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for innovation, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a commercial setting.
- Design, install, and maintain commercial refrigeration and cooling systems.
- Conduct system diagnostics, performance evaluations, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement efficient refrigeration solutions tailored to client needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the installation and operational phases.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in refrigeration technology and best practices.
- Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration Engineering, or a related technical field (BSc or equivalent).
- Professional Experience:
- 35 years of proven experience in the design and installation of commercial refrigeration systems (experience in residential systems is not ideal for this role).
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in refrigeration design software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls.
- Familiarity with international standards and codes of practice for refrigeration.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and manage projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within East and Southern Africa as required.
