Job summary
A leading security services provider is seeking a Security Area Manager in South Africa to oversee security operations across multiple sites. The role includes developing standardized security protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates should possess at least 10 years of experience in the security industry, with a focus on operational security management. A Matric/Grade 12 certificate and valid driver's license are essential. This position requires strategic oversight, personnel management, and liaison with law enforcement.
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years in the security industry required.
- Minimum 5 years in Operational Security Management structure.
Responsibilities
- Oversee security operations across multiple sites.
- Develop and enforce security protocols and emergency plans.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits.
- Manage hiring and training of site-level security personnel.
- Lead investigations into security incidents.
- Manage the area’s security budget and expenses.
- Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services.
