Job summary
A leading vertical lifting solutions provider is looking for a qualified Lift Mechanic based in Cape Town. The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing elevators and escalators. Candidates must have trade testing as a Lift Technician, and 2-5 years of specific experience in the field. Important skills include electrical and mechanical abilities, with knowledge of hydraulics being an advantage. A valid driver's license is also required. Overtime availability is expected.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years working experience specifically on lifts and escalators.
- Must be trade tested as a Lift Technician.
- Possess a valid Driver's License.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain and service lifts and escalators using hand and power tools.
- Connect electrical wiring to control panels and electric motors.
- Maintain and adjust safety controls and components.
