A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Network Senior Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Centurion. The role involves designing and deploying network infrastructure, monitoring performance, and implementing security protocols. Candidates should have at least 5 years of network engineering experience, with strong skills in Cisco and cloud technologies. Relevant certifications are highly desirable.

- Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP) highly desirable.

Network Senior Engineer - 12 Month Contract
- Design and deploy LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud integration, data center operations, and remote connectivity.
- Lead network upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on strategic projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking platforms.
- Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and other protocols.
- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
