Position: Accountant

Working Schedule: 8a-5p CST

Salary Range: $1700- $2000 USD Monthly (the final salary will be determined by the candidate's level of experience and at the discretion of the client)

Role Overview:
Our client is a pioneering provider of Aerial Imagery and Aerial Intelligence Solutions. They connect the physical world with the digital realm by leveraging cutting-edge technology to help companies see clearer, move faster, and win bigger. You will be responsible for organizing financial statements, managing payroll, and miscellaneous organizational tasks. You will report directly to the CEO and will be an intricate part of the team. We are looking for someone that can thrive in a fast-paced environment and has great attention to detail.

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and tracking expenses.
• Utilize knowledge of depreciation models and accounting principles to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.
• Assist with preparing quarterly reports.
• Invoice, checks, payroll, and accounts receivable.
• Oversee financial transactions and credit cards.

• 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field.
• Strong understanding of general bookkeeping, depreciation models, reconciliation, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks required.
• Proficiency in Gusto required.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in data analysis and performing cost-benefit analysis is a plus.

• High awareness and/or experience working with US tax laws.
• US GAAP experience is strongly preferred.
