Qualifications

• Proven experience in youth work, training facilitation, mentorship, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by unemployed youth in Northern Cape.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience delivering soft skills and employability training.
• Patience, empathy, and genuine desire to help young people succeed.
• Proficiency with training materials development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on life skills, job readiness, and basic vocational skills relevant to the Northern Cape job market.
• Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to young participants, offering guidance, support, and encouragement.
• Assist youth in developing personal development plans, setting goals, and identifying career pathways.
• Facilitate workshops on interview skills, CV writing, and workplace etiquette.
• Connect participants with potential employers and internship opportunities within the Kimberley area.
• Monitor participant progress, providing constructive feedback and addressing challenges.
• Foster a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
• Collaborate with program managers to ensure training content is up-to-date and relevant.
• Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, progress, and outcomes.
