Job summary

Placements24 in Paarl, Western Cape, seeks a dynamic Youth Development Program Manager to lead strategic initiatives for local youth. This hybrid role combines planning, program implementation, and stakeholder engagement to foster empowerment, skill development, and social inclusion in Paarl and surrounding areas.

You will collaborate with schools, community organizations, and government bodies to design and manage programs that meet community needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field as stated.
Minimum 5 years' experience managing youth-focused programs.
Strong understanding of youth development in the South African context.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and partnership building.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive youth development programs.
Manage program budgets, resources, and staff/volunteer teams effectively.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with schools, community organizations, and local government.
Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs.
Organize events, workshops, and training sessions for youth participants.
Report on program progress, impact, and challenges to senior management and funders.
