Qualifications

• Experience in youth development, education, social work, or a related field.
• Passion for working with young people and understanding adolescent development.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment for diverse youth groups.
• Familiarity with resources and challenges facing youth in Stellenbosch.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and facilitate engaging workshops and activities for youth aged 14-24.
• Mentor and coach young people, helping them set and achieve personal and educational goals.
• Assist youth in developing essential life skills, such as communication, problem-solving, and financial literacy.
• Connect youth with educational, vocational training, and employment opportunities.
• Organize and supervise youth events, field trips, and community service projects.
• Maintain records of youth participation, progress, and outcomes.
