Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of youth work, program coordination, or community development.
• Experience designing and delivering youth-focused programs in Gauteng.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within Tembisa area.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage engaging youth programs, workshops, and activities.
• Build relationships with local schools, community leaders, and other stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to young participants.
• Facilitate group sessions and individual consultations to address youth needs and aspirations.
• Identify potential risks and implement safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Organize community events and outreach campaigns to promote youth participation and awareness.
• Manage program budgets, track expenditures, and prepare regular progress reports for management and funders.
• Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers assisting with youth programs.
• Liaise with parents and guardians to keep them informed about program activities and their child's progress.
• Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
