Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Sports Management, Coaching or related field.
• Experience organizing or coaching youth sports programs.
• Strong knowledge of various sports and their developmental stages.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Ability to work with children and teenagers.
• Volunteer coordination experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of health, safety and child protection principles.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.
• Residency or strong ties to the Tembisa area preferred.
• Passion for youth development through sport.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement structured youth sports programs.
• Coordinate training schedules, matches and events.
• Recruit and register young participants.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteer coaches.
• Ensure safety and well-being during activities.
• Liaise with schools, centers and parents.
• Manage equipment and venue upkeep.
• Track attendance, progress and feedback.
• Assist fundraising initiatives for youth sports.
• Maintain relationships with community partners.
