Placements24 in Gauteng seeks a Social Program Facilitator to design, implement and lead youth-focused programs in Tembisa. The role emphasizes engaging workshops, life skills and personal development with direct youth mentoring.

You will work on-site full-time with local youth, building safe, inclusive spaces and coordinating with schools and guardians to ensure holistic support and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Youth Development or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years’ experience with youth in facilitation or mentoring roles.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging youth programs.
• Strong group facilitation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and facilitate youth programs and workshops in Tembisa.
• Lead group discussions, activities, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.
• Assess youth needs and adapt content accordingly.
• Build trustful relationships with youth and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with parents, schools and community partners for holistic support.
• Maintain records of attendance, progress and challenges.
• Develop program materials tailored to local youth context.
• Identify safeguarding risks and report per policy.
• Contribute to program evaluation and reporting.
• Represent the organization positively within the community.
