Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a certified and inspirational Yoga Instructor to lead classes at our studio. You will design and teach sessions across experience levels, helping students explore physical and mental well-being through yoga.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of yoga philosophy, anatomy, sequencing, and breathwork, with excellent communication and empathy to foster a welcoming community and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Certified Yoga Instructor with RYT 200+ certification.
• Experience teaching multiple yoga styles.
• Knowledge of yoga anatomy, philosophy, and sequencing.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and safe yoga classes for all levels, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and restorative styles.
• Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and modifications to accommodate individual student needs.
• Create a calming and welcoming environment that encourages mindfulness and relaxation.
• Educate students on yoga principles, alignment, and breathwork techniques.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with students, fostering a sense of community.
• Ensure the yoga space is clean, organized, and properly equipped for each class.
